Serbia's national Under-19 football team are the winners of the 2013 UEFA U19 European Championship, held in Lithuania.

BELGRADE Serbia's national Under-19 football team are the winners of the 2013 UEFA U19 European Championship, held in Lithuania. Serbia made a historic success on Thursday evening winning the first title of the champion of Europe with a 1-0 victory over France in the finals in Marijampole. When the team arrived home on Friday morning, PM Ivica Dacic was there to greet them at Belgrade's Nikola Tesla Airport. "It is a great honor for me to welcomed you on the behalf of the people of Serbia. You made us very happy and thank you for that. We are proud of you, you have showed how one should play for Serbia. You played great and you deserve to be the champions of Europe," Dacic said addressing the young team. He also congratulated heads of the Football Association of Serbia, coach Ljubinko Drulovic and coaching staff. "This is the greatest success of the Serbian football, and I hope that seniors will look up to you," Dacic said. At the airport, the prime minister was accompanied by Director General of Serbia's new national air carrier Air Serbia, Dane Kondc. Young champions were also greeted by Football Association of Serbia President Tomislav Karadziz. Serbia U19 captain Marko Pavlovski presented Dacic with a jersey with signatures of all 18 players.
