BELGRADE Leaders of the three largest parties in the ruling coalition should make a final decision on Monday on changes in the composition of the government of Serbia. The United Regions of Serbia (URS) on Sunday agreed that the Ministry of Finance and Economy should be divided into two. Prime Minister and leader of the Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS) Ivica Dacic said that the Saturday meeting produced no final agreement between the SNS, the SPS and the URS on the reconstruction of the Serbian government, and announced a new meeting of the coalition partners for today. "The decision of the URS will be discussed at the meeting between Aleksandar Vucic, Mladjan Dinkic, and myself, which I scheduled for today at 17:00 (CET) in the government of Serbia," Dacic told Tanjug. Dacic said that as prime minister, he was "again reminding" that the fundamental and serious reconstruction includes not only personnel changes, but also "changes in the approach to goals and methods of conducting finance and economy." Vice President of the Serb Progressive Party (SNS) Nebojsa Stefanovic meanwhile expressed his hope that today's meeting of leaders of the ruling coalition would resolve the reshuffle. Asked whether it was certain that the United Regions of Serbia would remain in te government, Stefanovic told journalists that the meeting on Monday would "show" whether this was the case. According to this, URS leader Mlađan Dinkić will remain finance minister, while the SNS will get the economy portfolio.

Prime Minister and leader of the Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS) Ivica Dačić said that the Saturday meeting produced no final agreement between the SNS, the SPS and the URS on the reconstruction of the Serbian government, and announced a new meeting of the coalition partners for today.

"The decision of the URS will be discussed at the meeting between Aleksandar Vučić, Mlađan Dinkić, and myself, which I scheduled for today at 17:00 (CET) in the government of Serbia," Dačić told Tanjug.

Dačić said that as prime minister, he was "again reminding" that the fundamental and serious reconstruction includes not only personnel changes, but also "changes in the approach to goals and methods of conducting finance and economy."

Vice President of the Serb Progressive Party (SNS) Nebojša Stefanović meanwhile expressed his hope that today's meeting of leaders of the ruling coalition would resolve the reshuffle.
