Kosovo assembly adopts resolution on role of EULEX Even though the EU has left the door open to extending EULEX's mandate past June 2014, the resolution asks that this option not be activated, citing dissatisfaction with EULEX's role in investigating and prosecuting war crimes. Hajredin Kuci, Kosovo's deputy prime minister and justice minister, said during the debate that "EULEX is a result of an agreement between Kosovo and the EU and the mission will leave in the same way."
