BELGRADE The SNS and the SPS will according to announcements on Friday declare themselves on the proposals for the reconstruction of the Serbian government. SNS leader and Deputy PM Aleksandar Vucic, SPS leader and PM Ivica Dacic, and the URS leader and Economy and Finance Minister Mladjan Dinkic met late on Thursday to discuss this issue, but failed to reach any agreement. "Decisive day" for government reshuffle Vucic insisted on a thorough restructuring of the government, while according to reports, Dacic "did not declare himself." He only announced that a session of the presidency of his party would be held on Friday, after which a decision would be communicated. Mladjan Dinkic, meanwhile, did not wish to accept for his ministry to be split in two. His URS announced that the meeting was held in a "fair and constructive tone," and that all three coalition parties expressed their willingness to give their personal contribution for the government to work "even better." B92 understands that the URS proposed a smaller and more efficient government with a maximum of 15 ministries. It was announced that this weekend Dinkic will inform the party's presidency about what had been agreed with the coalition partners. A source has told Beta news agency that Vucic already decided on the further steps, but will first announce them at today's meeting of the SNS main board. Meanwhile, the SPS is expected to hold a session of the presidency of the party. As announced, the Socialists will give "full contribution and support, and not be an obstacle in the reshuffle process." However, SPS officials also do not exclude the possibility that, if there is no agreement, early elections would be held. (Beta, file) B92 Beta
