PM "did not, will not" discuss early elections

Prime Minister Ivica Dačić on Tuesday ruled out the possibility of holding early elections in the country, Beta news agency is reporting.

BELGRADE Prime Minister Ivica Dacic on Tuesday ruled out the possibility of holding early elections in the country, Beta news agency is reporting. At the same time, he said he "did not discuss this during a meeting with Deputy Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic." PM "did not, will not" discuss early elections "Elections would stop negotiations with the EU from starting and keep the government from solving problems like unemployment," Dacic told reporters in Belgrade. He stressed that an election had not been the subject of his discussion explaining that there was no time for one, as well as that he and Vucic were cooperating "extremely well" and that there were no open questions standing between them. Dacic, who is president of the Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS), denied allegations that his party was standing in the way of a government reshuffle, Beta reported. "Is there any resistance?
