STRASBOURG, BELGRADE Serbia's Deputy PM Suzana Grubjesic says that according to unofficial information, the European Commission's report on Serbia's progress is positive. She added that it contained more commendations than criticism. Report on Serbia's progress is positive, deputy PM says Grubjesic is visiting Strasbourg, where the European Commission debated Serbia's progress report Wednesday. The report has not been made public as it is still incomplete - it is missing the report of EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Catherine Ashton on the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina, the deputy PM's office said in a release. On Wednesday, members of the European Parliament (EP) will debate a resolution on Serbia. "I expect this resolution will also be positive, just like its first draft which recommended that the European Commission open accession talks with Serbia as soon as possible," Grubjesic noted. During the two-day session of the EP, Grubjesic will meet with numerous European officials, including European Enlargement Commissioner Stefan Fule, EP rapporteur for Serbia Jelko Kacin, and head of the EP delegation for relations with South-East Europe Eduard Kukan.
