KOSOVSKA MITROVICA Unknown perpetrators broke the windows on the offices of the Serb Progressive Party (SNS) in Kosovska Mitrovica. According to Medic, the case is qualified as "property damage" and an investigation is underway. The SNS municipal board released in a statement that the purpose of this incident is to cause fear and panic among Serbs in Kosovo, adding that "the perpetrators want to demonstrate what kind of life they are preparing for the Serbs in an imaginary state of Kosovo." This incident is "a direct attack on Serbia and its institutions, and on the Serb people as a whole," the statement reads. Kosovska Mitrovica municipal leadership condemned the stoning of the party's offices and stated that "the incidents harm the interests of the Serb people" in a day full of anticipation, when Serbia's integrity and sovereignty is being defended. "All political actors in Kosovo and Metohija and the entire Serb people are committed to defending and respecting their Constitution and their country - the Republic of Serbia," the town's top officials stated.
