SNS Presidency to hold meeting on Kosovo Monday

BELGRADE The Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) Presidency will hold a session at 8:00 CET on Monday, the party has released. According to the announcement, the SNS Presidency will discuss the Kosovo issue and the EU’s proposal and current political situation in the country. Prime Minister Ivica Dacic held meetings with representatives of political parties and informed them about the offer. The final decision will be made on Monday after the SNS Presidency session. Dacic told French daily Le Monde that Serbia could neither accept nor reject the offer because it would not get a date for the start of the EU accession negotiations. Political consultations on the Brussels’ offer on Kosovo continued on Sunday.

Prime Minister Ivica Dačić held meetings with representatives of political parties and informed them about the offer.

The final decision will be made on Monday after the SNS Presidency session.

Serbia has until Tuesday to inform Brussels whether it accepts or rejects the offer.

Dačić told French daily Le Monde that Serbia could neither accept nor reject the offer because it would not get a date for the start of the EU accession negotiations.
