LUANDA First Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Aleksandar Vucic attended in Angola on Tuesday a groundbreaking ceremony for a new military hospital. The hospital will be built by Serbian company Planum from Belgrade, in cooperation with Angolan partners, over a period of four years. Vucic attends groundbreaking ceremony in Angola On the second day of his official visit to Angola, Vucic toured Luanda's Military Hospital and the 101st Armoured Brigade in Funda, where he was informed about activities by Serbian experts in overhauling and maintaining damaged technical equipment and weaponry of the unit. Vucic met with 37 workers from Serbia, who are currently staying at the base of the unit, located 60 kilometers away from Luanda, the Serbian government's media relations office has said in a release. Angolan defense Minister Candido Pereira dos Santos Van-Dunem took Vucic for a visit to the Battle of Kifangondo Memorial, dedicated to the soldiers who fought in the decisive battle in the 1974/75 Angolan decolonization conflict. Minister Vucic will round off his visit to Angola by meeting with the country's President Jose Eduardo dos Santos on Wednesday. (Tanjug) Tanjug
