BELGRADE Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic issued a decree to decorate Russian President Vladimir Putin by the Order of the Republic of Serbia. The Russian leader as recognized for exceptional contributions in the development and reinforcement of peaceful cooperation and friendly ties between Serbia and Russia. Nikolic decorates Putin, 11 more foreign officials In the decree issued on February 22, the Serbian president decorated representatives of 11 more countries by a medal of the Order of the Republic of Serbia and also awarded former foreign minister of Spain Miguel Angel Moratinos the Order of the Serbian Flag of the first degree for special contributions to the development and reinforcement of peaceful cooperation and friendly ties between nations. Nikolic delivered gold and silver medals to creditworthy individuals in public and cultural sector, the president's cabinet released. Nikolic also delivered the medal of the Order of the Republic of Serbia for the development and reinforcement of peaceful cooperation and friendly ties to Armenian President Serge Sarkisian, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili and President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev. The medal was also delivered to President of the Kyrgyz Republic Almazbek Atambayev, Moldovan President Nicolae Timofti, President of Tajikistan Emomalii Rahmon, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguli Berdimuhamedov, President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych and Uzbekistani President Islam Karimov.
