Elections have resumed in Italy for a second day as 50 million voters are given a chance to elect 630 deputies and 315 senators in both houses of parliament.

ROME Elections have resumed in Italy for a second day as 50 million voters are given a chance to elect 630 deputies and 315 senators in both houses of parliament. The race is run by the parties and coalitions gathered around four candidates for premiership. According to a poll conducted on the eve of the two-day voting Bersani's coalition can count on about 35 percent of the vote, followed by Berlusconi's center-right coalition with 28 percent.
