A Bosnian Wahhabi leader was heard calling for a ten-percent tax to be introduced for Serbs and Croats in that country - modeled after Ottoman practices.

  1. I bet that more muslims in the world have been killed by wahabis and other radical muslim groups like this than by any other group in the world,
I view him the same way I view radical serb groups and croat groups.
and what do wahabis have to do with the ottoman empire? nothing.

  2. He is stupid and he does not represent Bosnian Muslims. I am a Muslim from Bosnia and I disagree! We are a modern European nation that is multi-religious. Serbs and Croats belong in this country just like we do. Peace to all citizens of Bosnia and neighboring countries. Welcome to the 21st century.

Take care of the bookshelves, the upper one has Playboys and Whiskey behind, it'll brake and fell onto sex tools and batteries which are behind books bellow. Great show but missed facially as the guy still looks too Jewish. Good luck in collecting money, if I see you sitting on the asphalt a front of supermarket I'll drop you few BAM (BAM/mark = Bosnian currency, the only one they live for).

The idea that extremists on the opposite ends of a spectrum further radicalize each other, isn't particularly ground-breaking folks. happens everywhere. Nothing special about Serbia when it comes to this.

  11. The document further elaborates how the Serbs would be treated in the Islamic Republic.

“All Serbs will have a 12-hour working day. The wages will be proportionate to the loyalty of all employees and as a rule they will be paid 30 percent less than the wages of Muslims whom occupy the same post … Serbs will receive rations for food, which they will obtain in special shops. Serbs do not have national parties and if they do not abide by the rules of political life, they will not be entitled to political organization or to vote. Serbs are equal to Muslims if, of their own will, they are received into the Islamic faith of their forefathers…A good Serb is a living and obedient Serb or a dead, disobedient Serb”

No Serb has a name like that.
It really doesn't matter if you are a Muslim or not, there is no way to defend Izetbegovic.
What exactly did Izetbegovic have in mind then?

  13. Izetbegovic appointed the Muslim National Council (MNC) of Bosnia to achieve long-term aspirations, to create a Muslim state in the Balkans. This state would defend the Muslim interests throughout Yugoslavia, i.e. Sandzak, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro, Croatia, Serbia). “Rise brother Muslims, there are enough of us to accomplish our goals, whom the Muslim and those of Muslim blood will not betray. This time will never come again. Now is the opportunity to realize the dream of every Muslim” [qouted in Doc Center, 2002 from the Bosnian Muslim magazine VOX]. Among other objectives the MNC was working for were the creation of a Muslim state within the borders of present day B&H and formation of the Muslim Armed Forces.

In October 1991, the MNC defined its political platform:

“The day is nearing when the announced Islamic Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina will be proclaimed. The date, which every Muslim in Bosnia-Herzegovina and Sandzak [Raška] is ardently waiting for has been known for a long time to be the 31st December. There are some indications that the Serbs might oppose this historic event…Every individual Serb must be aware of the responsibility of the entire nation, the penalty for crimes will be collective-for one dead Muslim one hundred Serbs will be liquidated-for one wounded Muslim (depending on the wound severity) 10-50 Serbs will be executed”

  19. Sofronije: you are confusing some issues here. The man in this article is part of an extreme Wahabbi sect living in an enclave in central Bosnia along with a few hundred others. There were indeed many people who did terrible things to Serbs during the 1990s conflict. Many of these were foreign Mujaheddin who have now left BiH, albeit a handful remain. Clearly I do not know the identity of those who set up internment camps for Serbs but you didn't need to be a Wahabbi sympathiser to do this.

The Wahabi have very little to do with the Ottoman Empire. They're a fanatic Islamic cult in extreme opposition to far more moderate Islam as practised in Turkey today (or during Ottoman times for that matter).

The number of their supporters in BiH is fortunately still small, although not as small as before the war.

Hell I am sure even though Lenard would be the first to convert for his tax break, even his Bosnian Croats would fight to the end from this lunacy.

And you can bang on about Srebrenica as much as you want its one of the biggest western media lies ever told! The fact so called victims are been found living nice and safe in Sweden shows that, and as for genocide! Genocide means wiping out the entire people not just males of fighting age, but i mean look into what happened to the Serbian villages and towns like Bratunac! Anyway back to my point this guy and his views are a relic and is part of a religion that can not advance and evolve into modern society, the guys a joke! And the fact know you hear more and more Bosnian Muslims dreaming of the days of Yugoslavia show there leaders at the time had no interest but there own, i know a few Bosnian Mulsim's in UK who are peaceful people but if there are more like him popping up then Serbs in Bosnia will split! You can have your own little Ottoman Era Empire around Sarajevo, but i will warn you this no Serb shall bow his head to a Ottoman every again!
