BELGRADE The Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS) has once again called for the resignation of Serbian Prime Minister Ivica Dacic. The DSS this time called for his resignation “because of the evidence of his contacts with the gang of runway drug lord Darko Saric”. Opposition DSS reiterates call for PM’s resignation The oppositional party noted that it had so far requested Dacic's resignation for political reasons, primarily complicity in establishing a border between Serbia and Kosovo. “It now turned out that not only Dacic's chief of staff, but also Dacic himself had contacts with Saric's gang,” the DSS said, stressing that for this reason it was absolutely unacceptable that Dacic remained in office as prime minister and interior minister. Noting that Serbia had embarked on a serious fight against crime, the DSS underlined that now was the decisive moment in this fight. In the last few days, the Serbian media have released information that the Serbian prime minister and his former Chief of Staff Branko Lazarevic had contacts with Rodoljub Radulovic, a member of Saric’s gang. Dacic told a press conference on Saturday that he had met with Radulovic a few times, but that at the moment he only had police information based on the so-called White Book, in which Radulovic was not labeled as a member of the gang. “The police, however, did not perform counterintelligence protection of the interior minister, and did not inform him about criminal activities of certain persons he met with,” the PM noted. Stressing that he had never committed a crime, Dacic said that all this had been silently archived in order to be used for later pressures and blackmail. Tanjug
