BELGRADE A draft law on South Stream gas pipeline, that will speed up expropriation of land and preparations for construction works in Serbia, has arrived in parliament. The Serbian government adopted the bill on Thursday and parliament is expected to pass it by the end of the month. Draft law on South Stream arrives in parliament According to announcements, parliament will adopt the bill in an emergency procedure in order to speed up the construction of the pipeline in Serbia. The bill will enable the authorities to issue necessary permits for the construction of the pipeline in Serbia. Around EUR 1.7bn will be invested in the construction of the pipeline in the territory of Serbia. (B92) Tanjug
