  1. The process of forming 5 nations or more from one ethnic group will be never over... think about you proud nationalist neighbours.. we lived in our lands for thousand of years ...think about what we share.. never can be peace if it is based in injustice racisem hate or religion intolerance ...Albania can more unify that seperate Balkan... your teachers of your ethnic conscience lied to you.. about who you are and from where came you from..and what language tradition your grandfathers had...So understandable why Albanophobia ..and why our neighborhood should tolerate natural Albania..

  3. There is a funny trend in reporting lately. The sources seem to be increasingly twitter, facebook and similar sites. King Berisha said bla bla bla on facebook, Jeremic said blo blo blo on twitter, Croatia and Slovenia were arguing on twitter, Macedonia like this controversial status about Alexander the Great, etc etc etc. These kind of reporting generates traffic of course but I am not sure how reliable politics on facebook is. Talk about "tabloidization threatening real news": [link]

Regarding our King Berisha, he discovered facebook and iPad lately as a countermove on the opposition leader who prefers twitter and our Majesty loves them. Elections are close and even though his Highness will manipulate results and vote counting like there is no tomorrow, he is still scared and comes up with this type of things. I just hope there is no civil war in Albania this summer, it is the only way our King will step down from power.

-- Buddy, gather enough Greeks in Albania to fill a 30 000 seat stadium and you have my full support for secession. You simply do not have the numbers. You think you do because you have been foolishly giving pensions to Albanian elderly to declare themselves Greek. They've been taking your money and not even voting for your guys. PBDNj is a distant 6-7 party, yet you claim there so many Greeks. Greeks that do not vote for their own party. What kind of Greeks are these?
I know, I have friends like this. Real ethnic Greeks who have nothing but the worst to say about Greece. They were treated in Greece worse than Albanians. Apparently you did not trust them enough. Get your numbers first then I will be your biggest supporter.

Orthodox=/= Greek. I know cuz half of my family are orthodox. None of them Greek. As a matter of fact they are more anti Greek than Catholics and Muslim. You know the kind of Orthodox Albanian that used to be poisoned and killed by Athens 100 years ago. Fan Noli types. Google him. The founder of our Orthodox Church was your worst nightmare.

For your information they already have discussed it, but the Albanians have miss calculated the situation and thought the US would come to the rescue. The best the US could do was “we believe there should have been more consultations”.
How about I pay for a statue of Osama bin laden and put it in one of your capitals. How tolerant would you Americans be? Would you discuss this before tearing it down?

  12. I love it when Albanian leaders, just like this guy make statements and appeals to the Albanian people urging them not to react to what they see as provocations (even though he has the issue in reverse).

Meanwhile before they have even opened their mouth to make such empty statements, the Albanian tribesman have already gone and desecrated cemeteries or burned churches down.

Who is this guy trying to fool? Everyone knows he doesn't even mean what he is saying. Everyone knows that clans and mafia bred people do not follow normal civilized morals and ethics.

What are you losers doing in Serbia anyway? The Serbs who live in Albania aren't even allowed to speak in Serbian and have to change their names to ridiculous Islamic ones. You guys come here and don't speak Serbian and only hold your own devil flag in the air.

The only law you guys know is about squatting and possession being 9/10ths of the law. That's why you try to get rid of the evidence of Serbs' properties and their historic cultural monuments.

Every time I question how you guys can be proud of this and so far from the truth, the answer quickly comes to mind... your brains have not evolved to the same forward point as ours.

  15. Interesting article, the situation seems to be escalating in the region. I believe both sides would rather have peace but the interference of media and government just add fuel to the already burning fire. With time the fire would have burned out on its own and peace would have been made in the region. The government and media need to focus on the positive side of the spectrum instead of highlighting the negative aspects. My opinion on the matter is to have talks for the albanians remove the statue, instead it was removed by force by the government just intensifying the situation farther. 20. Bravo B92! First your English twisted the Berisha comments off the mark and second no non-serb comments in here. There is a black hand stirring the hornets' nest and its not the Albanian or Serb people, believe me! Most people here are entirely ignorant about Albania and vice versa. The truth is that culturally, economically and politically they are of the same level and kind.

What Berisha said and has been saying for a very long time is that the Albanians will unite in the EU and so will the Serbs, Croats etc. and all of you together with the rest of civilized Europe. He is talking about erasing borders not changing them. Thats Dacic and co. Berisha has refused exchanges of territories. If its was up to Dacic, Kosovo would have united along with the Presevo Valley with Albania while northern Kosovo with Serbia.

Regardless of all this, you guys need to take a chill pill and relax because there is a plan and none of you - or I for that matter, have any say in it. I would also like to suggest you guys to visit Albania, where people are very friendly, as in Serbia and where no one cares wether you'r a Serb, Croat or a Mongol.

The two centuries world experiment with nation-satates is over! Any talk of borders is anachronistic. Adopt and concur, otherwise that black hand i was talking about is gonna squeeze its fist and ... the end.

It's funny - all the stories about talks to get Serbia into the eu and not one word about albania or kosovo getting into the eu.
