BELGRADE Tomislav Nikolic and Vuk Jeremic have agreed that despite the pressures, there would be no compromise in seeking justice for the innocent victims. The Serbian president and the president of the UN General Assembly met on Monday, to also conclude that the recent verdicts of the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (Hague Tribunal) "practically froze the reconciliation process until a just epilogue". "No compromise in seeking justice for victims" Nikolic and Jeremic talked about the public debate, set for April 10, 2013 at the UN General Assembly, on the role of international ad hoc criminal tribunals, about justice and reconciliation of peoples in the region, Serbia's relations with countries in the region and the world, and investments in Serbia. Nikolic informed Jeremic about his stance on the Hague acquittal of the former Croatian generals accused of crimes committed during 1995 operations Flash and Storm, which practically denied the expulsion of 200,000 Serbs and the murder of 2,000 innocent women, children and the elderly, the president's press service said in a release. "The crime cannot go unpunished," said Nikolic, adding that "justice must be done". Jeremic stressed the importance of all relevant factors in Serbia working together and said all available capacities should be in the service of promoting the truth that is being denied by the latest decisions of the Hague Tribunal. Bure baruta pred eksplozijom: Počinje veliki rat?

Bliski istok, zbog promene ravnoteže snaga i dubokih kriza, pre svega palestinsko-izraelske, može se smatrati buretom baruta i ima potencijal da dovede ne samo do regionalnog sukoba, već i do globalnog konflikta.
