The Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) City Board will submit their petition with 100,000 signatures for the change of the Belgrade city Statute on Monday.

BELGRADE The Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) City Board will submit their petition with 100,000 signatures for the change of the Belgrade city Statute on Monday. SNS City Board Deputy President Milosav Milickovic told a press conference that the initiative envisaged decentralization of Belgrade, higher authority of the city and suburban municipalities. Commenting on a draft amendment of the city Statute offered by the city authorities, Milickovic said that it was “only cosmetics and it does not change anything”. “They practically copied the old one and we think that it is even more restrictive than the current one,” he stressed.
