BELGRADE First Deputy PM and Defense Minister Aleksandar Vucic on Monday in Belgrade received Russian Ambassador to Serbia Aleksandr Chepurin. The two officials discussed cooperation between their countries, it has been announced. First Deputy PM meets with Russian ambassador Vucic's cabinet said in a statement that the meeting confirmed the close cooperation between Serbia and Russia in all areas, especially when it comes to business and economy. Vucic and Chepurin also agreed that special attention should be paid to the high technology sector in the future, as well as the need to "establish regular communication" between the two defense ministers. The top Serbian official and the Russian envoy appraised as "exceptionally successful" the recent visit here of Russian Vice-Premier Dmitry Rogozin, saying that it had contributed to the improvement of relations between Serbia and Russia.
