KRAGUJEVAC Seven people, an eight-year-old child among them, were injured at a bus stop in the central Serbian town of Kragujevac this morning. The accident happened when a passenger car drove into them, according to reports. Water polo player mows down seven people at bus stop Beta news agency reported that the Kragujevac Medical Emergency Service said that the casualties were taken to the Clinical Center. Belgrade-based tabloid Blic is reporting that the car was a Belgrade license plates BMW, driven by water polo player Boris Popovic. According to the police sources quoted by the daily, Popovic was speeding when he drove over the curb and into the people at the bus stop. Beta news agency reported that the Kragujevac Medical Emergency Service said that the casualties were taken to the Clinical Center.

Belgrade-based tabloid Blic is reporting that the car was a Belgrade license plates BMW, driven by water polo player Boris Popović.

According to the police sources quoted by the daily, Popović was speeding when he drove over the curb and into the people at the bus stop.

An investigation into the accident is under way in Kragujevac.
