BELGRADE Oil Industry of Serbia (NIS) was the most successful company in Serbia in 2011, a business monthly has announced. The Business and Finance (Biznis i Finansije) magazine's BIZNIS TOP publication said that NIS turned a profit of RSD 40.6bn last year, while its overall income reached RSD 192.5bn. The state-owned Telekom Srbija telecommunications enterprise came in second with RSD 22.3bn in profit, followed by Delta Kapital with RSD 20.1bn in the third place. Electrical Industry of Serbia (EPS) was second when it came to income, with RSD 126.1bn, followed by Telekom (RSD 87.3bn). Public company Roads of Serbia (Putevi Srbije) had the highest capital of RSD 303.8bn, followed by EPS with RSD 274.3bn, and hydro-power plant Djerdap Kladovo with RSD 208bn.
