BELGRADE Serbia’s First Deputy Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic presented evidence about the wiretapping of top state officials on Saturday. He claims that his and President Tomislav Nikolic’s phone records were requested four times between April 1 and November 8. Deputy PM Vucic releases details about wiretapping Vucic stressed that the records had for the first time been requested from the phone company back in 2009 while the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) was still in the opposition. He added that the last wiretapping case was connected to one Zvonko M. but stressed that he did not know who he was. Vucic announced that police officials would be sacked over the affair and that a law would be changed as well in order to prevent such things from happening again.
