Serbia's best tennis player Novak Đoković will on Monday return to the top position of the ATP list, and finish the season as world No. 1.

BELGRADE Serbia's best tennis player Novak Djokovic will on Monday return to the top position of the ATP list, and finish the season as world No. 1. Swiss Roger Federer pulled out of defending the Paris Masters title, which means that in seven days Djokovic will get 1,000 points, as much as the Swiss will lose by skipping the tournament. Novak Djokovic to finish season as world No. 1 After Paris, Federer will be 2,000 points behind Djokovic, and maybe even more depending on the Serb's performance in the French capital. The Swiss will not be able to surpass Djokovic even if he defends the trophy at the final tournament of the season in London, as it is worth only 1,500 points. After Paris, Federer will be 2,000 points behind Đoković, and maybe even more depending on the Serb's performance in the French capital.

The Swiss will not be able to surpass Đoković even if he defends the trophy at the final tournament of the season in London, as it is worth only 1,500 points.
