BELGRADE Serbia’s Health Minister Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic has said that the government made positive steps in the first three months of its work. According to her, the main positive step is unblocking of the negotiations on Kosovo. Djukic-Dejanovic told daily Blic that all ministers had familiarized themselves with their ministries and started fixing mistakes and doing their job. She pointed out that the government would last its entire mandate. The minister assessed that the “government is energetic, ministers are responsible and consolidation of goals has been achieved”. “The government passed the test in the first three months,” Djukic-Dejanovic was quoted as saying. When asked if there were any problems between her Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS) and the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS), she said that there were no problems in the government and that she had good cooperation with the ministers from the SNS. “The fact is that we have made all decisions unanimously,” she said but explained that it was normal to have problems, talks, agreements and even hard feelings.
