He added that he also expected the report be “moderately positive”. PM reiterates: We want EU talks date as soon as possible Dacic said he expected the EC to take into account the fact that the new Serbian government had only worked for two months. The prime minister told daily Vecernje novosti that Serbia wanted to get a date for the EU accession talks as soon as possible but stressed that it would “not be the end of the world” if the decision was made in June or December 2013. He noted that the EU’s conditions for the beginning of the accession talks were well-known and that there would be no new requirements. Commenting on Kosovo, Dacic said he was ready to discuss the issue even with Kosovo Prime Minister Hashim Thaci. “I have no problem sitting down at the table and talking with anyone. Besides, I was already at the same table with Thaci in the UN Security Council. We just do not want to put our signature under Kosovo’s independence but we do not have a problem with the dialogue,” he explained.
