NEW YORK Serbian and Croatian foreign ministers Ivan Mrkic and Vesna Pusic have met at the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York. However, the two officials did not discuss about charges of genocides during what was their first meeting, pointing out that the issue will be discussed in the future. The Serbian foreign minister said after the meeting that everything in connection with the two countries' mutual relations will be resolved through concrete results, and added that Serbia and Croatia have much in common in the future. Asked about the two neighboring countries' charges of genocide before the International Court of Justice, Mrkic replied there will be time to talk about that. "We will strive to make it possible for the interests of both countries to be represented equally and as befits the situation and the problem," he said.
