BELGRADE Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic delivered sabers to three best-ranked graduates of 133rd class of the Military Academy (VA). The eremony was in front of the House of the National Assembly on Saturday. Defense Minister Aleksandar Vucic deliver engraved pistols to most successful cadets of the Ground Forces and Aviation and Air Defense - Viktor Veres from Krusevac and Milena Djokic from Kraljevo. A promotion of the youngest class of VA officers, 31 of whom are women, was held in Belgrade downtown. The promotion was attended by Prime Minister Ivica Dacic, Parliament Speaker Nebojsa Stefanovic, numerous ministers and Chief of General Staff Lieutenant General Ljubisa Dikovic. The ceremony, which was held for the seventh time in front of the House of the National Assembly, was also attended by officers' families, relatives and friends, representatives of diplomatic corps, military attaches, delegations of armed forces of Austria, and national guards of Ohio, Egypt, Great Britain and Germany. A total of 156 cadets from 133rd class were promoted as lieutenants, two of whom are members of the Montenegrin Armed Forces. The program was accompanied by overhead flights, while the Serbian Armed Forces ensemble Stanislav Binicki and the Guard orchestra gave a performance as a part of the ceremony. (Beta) Tanjug
