Serbian education minister to attend conference in Beijing

BELGRADE Zarko Obradovic will attend the founding conference of the Secretariat for Cooperation between China and countries of the Central and South-East Europe. The Serbian minister of Education, Science and Technological Development will participate in the event, held in Beijing, from September 4 to 6, it has been announced. Serbian education minister to attend conference in Beijing During the first meeting of national coordinators of countries of Central and South-East Europe for cooperation with China and at the special reception hosted by Chinese Prime Minister Wen Jiabao, Obradovic will Serbia's present development projects in the sectors of infrastructure, energy, telecommunications, environmental protection, science, health-care, education and other areas, the Ministry of Education stated in a release. During the visit, Obradovic and Chinese ministers of science, technology and education will discuss the scientific and technological cooperation so far and the two countries' cooperation in the education sector, as well as the course of development of mutual relations with a view to further enhancement of strategic partnership between Serbia and China.
