"Previously, we had neither the system nor mechanisms for the fight against corruption, we are currently building them and major and important results will become visible very soon," Vucic told reporters in Kraljevo, central Serbia, and added that "nobody in Serbia has the right to rob the citizens of their property and get away with it unpunished". According to him, investigations will be launched "from several points simultaneously", while according to him, over 20 investigative teams have been formed so far. "We are starting from scratch, which is very difficult," Vucic said and noted that apart from analytics present in certain services, "there are no genuine results, and the prosecutors do not have the possibility to raise indictments". "We need to carry out all the necessary pre-investigative activities so as to produce certain results," he noted. "It is important for the prosecutors to be able to raise firm indictments once we have done our job and thus make sure that the task of the judge is not a difficult one," Vucic said.
