Driver’s licenses issued by the Serbian police (MUP) to citizens living in Kosovo are no longer valid in the southern province.

PRISTINA Driver’s licenses issued by the Serbian police (MUP) to citizens living in Kosovo are no longer valid in the southern province. Kosovo Interior Minister Bajram Rexhepi has stated that the Serbian driver licenses could not be used in Kosovo as of Saturday. Kosovo: Serbian licenses are no longer valid Kosovo Deputy Interior Minister Sasa Rasic told Tanjug that a regulation that allowed Kosovo citizens to use the Serbian licenses expired today. He stressed that holders of the Serbian driver licenses could replace them with licenses issue by the Kosovo police. Rasic said that police would seize the Serbian driver licenses from drivers who live in Kosovo and that they would consider that the drivers were driving their vehicles without a license. Tanjug

Kosovo Deputy Interior Minister Saša Rašić told Tanjug that a regulation that allowed Kosovo citizens to use the Serbian licenses expired today.

He stressed that holders of the Serbian driver licenses could replace them with licenses issue by the Kosovo police.

Rašić said that police would seize the Serbian driver licenses from drivers who live in Kosovo and that they would consider that the drivers were driving their vehicles without a license.
