Egyptian forces kill 20 militants in Sinai

CAIRO Egyptian army killed 20 militants in the Sinai on Wednesday, days after 16 soldiers were killed in an attack attributed to Islamist extremists. Egyptian military’s Apache helicopter fired at the extremists’ vehicles in the north of the Sinai Peninsula, AFP has reported. A senior military official in Sinai, who spoke to on condition of anonymity, said "20 terrorists were killed" in the village of Tumah.
