Smederevo's Fortress Theater festival set to open
The 4th International Ambient Festival Fortress Theater will officially open on Wednesday evening at the medieval Smederevo Fortress on the Danube.

SMEDEREVO The 4th International Ambient Festival Fortress Theater will officially open on Wednesday evening at the medieval Smederevo Fortress on the Danube. The festival's slogan this year is "Pan-Theatricum: An Escape From Limitations". Smederevo's Fortress Theater festival set to open A total of nine troupes from four European countries will perform within the main program by July 20. The accompanying program includes theater ensembles from Italy and Austria who will give street performances and plays. The festival will be opened by PAN.OPTIKUM Action Theater from Freiburg, Germany, performing their "TRANSITion". At the end of the festival a three-member jury comprised of Emina Elor, Branislav Nedic and Milos Jagodic will present awards for best play, director, actress and actor.
