Temperatures in Serbia are expected to reach 38 degrees Celsius on Sunday, the Serbian Hydro-Meteorological Institute has stated. The highest temperature at 11:00 CET was in Belgrade, Palic, Sombor and Novi Sad – 34 degrees. The lowest temperature was at Mt. Kopaonik, 20 degrees Celsius. Another day of extreme heat in Serbia Citizens are advised not to leave their homes between the hours of 11:00 and 18:00 and to drink plenty of water. Experts also advise citizens to wear light, wide clothes and hats. Sunny and hot weather with temperatures up to 38 degrees Celsius is expected in Serbia in the next seven days.
