Belgrade Waterworks and Sewerage public company sent water trucks with drinking water to several locations in Belgrade on Saturday due to high temperatures. The water trucks will be placed in downtown squares and streets until Tuesday to help citizens cope with heat, the City of Belgrade has stated. It was already 30 degrees at 9:30 CET in Belgrade and meteorologists say that temperatures in Serbia will reach 38 degrees Celsius in the next several days. Doctors advise citizens not to leave the house between 10:00 and 18:00 unless it is necessary, to drink plenty of water and avoid direct sunlight. According to weather forecasts, the daily highs should reach 36 degrees Celsius in Serbia today.

It was already 30 degrees at 9:30 CET in Belgrade and meteorologists say that temperatures in Serbia will reach 38 degrees Celsius in the next several days.

Doctors advise citizens not to leave the house between 10:00 and 18:00 unless it is necessary, to drink plenty of water and avoid direct sunlight.
