Acting leader of the Serb Progressives (SNS) Aleksandar Vucic has appraised that the Democrats (DS) "will find it difficult to form a new government". Speaking for B92 in Belgrade on Monday, Vucic also expressed his hope that there was "some chance for the Progressives to form a government". "Progressives have chance to form government" "If I did say that the DS will have difficulties forming a government, I did not say it was impossible, just difficult. That means that I think there is some chance for the SNS to form a government - and you know I don't say these things lightly," specified Vucic. However, he would not reveal what he based this opinion on, nor whether the SNS had in fact reached a deal with the Socialists (SPS). "I cannot speak about all the details and things that some of us know, because they are not the result of anything official, but of unofficial information, and I'm not a flippant man to play with information like that. I always think things through and speak publicly with a cool head when it comes to saying things like this," Vucic stated. However, Vucic also noted that he thought "this information - that is, this appraisal" was "completely accurate". Aleksandar Vucic (Tanjug, file) Tanjug
