Still no talks on future Serbian government

Even though the Democratic Party has said it will have consultations with the Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS)-led coalition, no talks have been held so far. SPS deputy leader Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic has said that the SPS-led coalition wanted to form the parliamentary majority with the Democrats but that she has no information that any concrete steps have been made. Still no talks on future Serbian government The DS said on Friday that the party’s Presidency has decided to intensify the talks on the government. Djukic-Dejanovic added that the negotiations were headed by SPS leader Ivica Dacic and that she “has no information that anything significant has happened” since his last meeting with DS leader Boris Tadic. United Serbia (JS) leader Dragan Markovic said on Friday night that he would speak to Dacic, among other things, about the economic program. Still no talks on future Serbian government

The DS said on Friday that the party’s Presidency has decided to intensify the talks on the government.

Đukić-Dejanović added that the negotiations were headed by SPS leader Ivica Dačić and that she “has no information that anything significant has happened” since his last meeting with DS leader Boris Tadić.

United Serbia (JS) leader Dragan Marković said on Friday night that he would speak to Dačić, among other things, about the economic program.

The Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) previously officially invited the SPS to discuss the forming of the future government.
