The B92 Fund humanitarian campaign “Battle for the Babies” has so far involved 700 companies and more than one million people. It exceeded its goals and raised funds for 200 incubators, satisfying the needs of maternity centers across the country. But that is only one side of the success it has enjoyed. “Battle for the Babies” keeps winning on all fronts In the past few months, the promotional campaign created by the Saatchi & Saatchi Belgrade advertising agency won numerous international, regional and local awards for marketing communications. The campaign was realized with support of Direct Media PR agency, who were responsible for public relations. The campaign has five nominations in three categories at Cannes Lions, arguably the most important festival of creativity in the world. Last week, “Battle for the Babies” won the prestigious EACA Care Grand Prix, presented annually by the European Association of Communications Agencies for the best achievements in social marketing as part of EACA's overall commitment to promote Corporate Social Responsibility, as well as two silver awards the 13th International Advertising Festival Golden Hammer in Latvia, in the Integrated Campaign category and Non-corporate PR category (projects aimed to promote public sector, charities and non-profit organizations). In April, the campaign won 4 awards at the FORFEST Creative Industries Festival in Budva, including 1st Prize in the Public Relations / Corporate PR category. FORFEST 2012 gathered in one place well-known creative directors and other marketing and advertising experts from Ljubljana, Zagreb, Sarajevo, Belgrade and Skopje. In October last year, merely two months since its onset, “Battle for the Babies” won 1st Prize in the Humanitarian Projects category at WEBIT Congress in Sofia as the most successful digital / web campaign. WEBIT Congress is an international event for the digital, technology and entrepreneurial ecosystems with special focus on emerging markets in Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa. Saatchi & Saatchi Belgrade also won a number of local awards for the campaign. It won the Golden Medal in the Social Responsibility category at the “My choice 2011” festival of quality. The festival is organized by the “My Serbia” association and Belgrade Chamber of Commerce. The prizes are awarded based on the results of consumer opinion poll. The UEPS (Serbian Marketing Communications Association) awards ceremony saw “Battle for the Babies” win 6 prizes, the most important being the Golden Prize for the Best Non-Profit Campaign and the Best Non-Profit Radio Commercial. The campaign also won prizes in the following categories: Non-Profit BTL Campaign, 360° Campaign, Non-Profit TV Commercial and Online Project. Moreover, “Battle for the Babies” won the award for the Best Non-Profit Campaign at the Night of the Adeaters in Belgrade. B92
