Cedomir Jovanovic says a coalition led by his party is a natural partner to the Democratic Party (DS) and the Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS). The leader of the LDP and the U-Turn Movement gathered around it also revealed on Thursday that he was "ready to talk to the parties' leaders Boris Tadic and Ivica Dacic". LDP leader says his party is "natural partner to DS and SPS" Jovanovic told state broadcaster RTS that he already had talks with representatives of the parties which have discussed the forming of the government, and pointed out that that the contacts were quite useful, but did not want to specify any details. The DS and the SPS should say publicly whether they want to cooperate with the LDP, he said. "I expect them to talk to us," Jovanovic underlined. The LDP leader stressed that there are differences between the program of his party and the one of the SPS, but that it is normal to make compromises at the beginning of government's work, when the body should determine a clear economic policy, Serbia's EU path, "and how to protect the Serb community in Kosovo and Metohija". Jovanovic also said that he is not asking anything to enter the government and that he is ready to be its part. Asked if he sees himself as "deputy PM, minister of european integration, or minister of foreign affairs" - he replied that these posts required "an experienced diplomat".
