The Serbian dinar (RSD) in on Tuesday own by 0.6 percent, dropping to official middle exchange rate of RSD 114.107 for one euro (EUR). The home currency's slump continued despite the fact the National Bank of Serbia (NBS) sold EUR 40 million in the internbank foreign exchange market on Monday. RSD-EUR exchange rate sinks to 114.107 Since the beginning of 2012, the central bank has sold a total of EUR 878.5 million in its bids to "ensure smooth running of the foreign exchange market". This year, the dinar hit its highest level against the single European currency on January 11 with the exchange rate at RSD 103.6922. The dinar is 2.3 percent down on this time last month, and 14.9 percent down on the year. RSD-EUR exchange rate sinks to 114.107

Since the beginning of 2012, the central bank has sold a total of EUR 878.5 million in its bids to "ensure smooth running of the foreign exchange market".

This year, the dinar hit its highest level against the single European currency on January 11 with the exchange rate at RSD 103.6922.
