Electoral Commission distributes mandates to MPs
The Republic Electoral Commission (RIK) has given mandates to MPs who were elected in the May 6 parliamentary elections.

The Republic Electoral Commission (RIK) has given mandates to MPs who were elected in the May 6 parliamentary elections. A constitutive session of the Serbian parliament, which must be held by June 9, can now be called. Electoral Commission distributes mandates to MPs Parliament has a total of 250 seats and 11 electoral lists will have their representatives, including five ethnic minority lists. The RIK distributed the mandates in accordance with the order of the candidates on the electoral lists. The Serbian Progressive Party (SNS)-led coalition got 73 seats, the Democratic Party of Serbia (DS)-led coalition 67, the Socialist Party of Serbia-Party of United Pensioners of Serbia-United Serbia (SPS- PUPS-JS) coalition 44, the Democratic Party of Serbia 21, the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP)-led coalition 19, United Regions of Serbia (URS) 16, Alliance of Vojvodina Hungarians (SVM) five, while None of the Above, Coalition of Albanians and All Together won one seat each.
