Serbian Progressive Party (SNS)-led coalition presidential candidate Tomislav Nikolic says "there will be no chaos" in the presidential run-off elections. "We never tried to seize power by fighting on the streets. Our only weapon was the ballot. Now they have deprived us of it," Nikolic told Belgrade-based daily Danas, commenting on the accusations by the ruling coalition that he was trying to provoke chaos and chase investors away. “There will be no chaos, only changes” "The citizens see that, they do not like it and they are raising their voice against the authorities that are treating them in such a manner," he added. The SNS leader said that he had no right to boycott the elections, as the people in Serbia wanted changes. “I will make those changes possible,” he added. "The SNS members and followers, but also all other people in Serbia, have witnessed the dirtiest campaign in modern European history, and I have the obligation to fight for their future,” Nikolic said when asked why he decided to take part in the presidential runoff if he is convinced the first round was characterized by irregularities. According to him, if he wins, "all will learn the real truth about the regime's electoral frauds." "I gave myself the task of telling the citizens of Serbia who ignored their will. And they will learn it. I will be the guarantor that their will be respected. And I also do not want to hand the third term to (Democratic Party leader Boris) Tadic on a plate," Nikolic was quoted as saying. Tomislav Nikolic (Tanjug, file) Danas Tanjug
