Tomislav Nikolic on Monday rejected claims made by the Public Prosecutor's Office that no electoral theft took place on May 6. The leader of the SNS party and presidential candidate in the May 20 runoff also announced that the party will be better organized and ready "to defend every vote physically" in the second round. Progressives vow to "physically defend each vote" "This time there will be no electoral fraud, because we will really get into a fight every time they try to steal. I personally am ready to pick a fight at any polling station where they may want to steal votes," Nikolic told the press after a meeting of the SNS Main Board. According to him, the party has decided that there will be no election log at the polling places where thefts would be committed. The Public Prosecutor's Office is just the Democratic Party's long arm, Nikolic said, whereas Aleksandar Vucic, the SNS vice-president, called its spokesperson Tomo Zoric a liar. The prosecution said in a release earlier today that there was no fixing of results at the polling place in Pancevo, and that the bag with ballots that the Serb Progressive Party (SNS) was corroborating their election theft claims with was taken out of the station in the town near Belgrade, only after all the votes had been counted and the election log forwarded to the Republic Electoral Commission (RIK) without any changes made to it. Tomo Zoric also addressed journalists on Monday to say that a police investigation and verification established that the ballot bag that appeared in public had been stolen from Polling Station No. 57 in Pancevo.
