Opening a conference dubbed “European Union and Serbia: from transition to accession”, Delevic said that the most important moment in Serbia’s EU integration process was EC’s positive opinion on the reforms and backing of the EU candidate status. She warned, however, that this did not mean that the situation in Serbia was ideal but that Serbia had adopted the EU recommendations regarding reforms and stressed that Serbia still needed to overcome many obstacles along the way.
