OSCE: Serbia improved election process
The election campaign in Serbia is competitive but peaceful and the control of the election process has been improved, OSCE has stated.

The election campaign in Serbia is competitive but peaceful and the control of the election process has been improved, OSCE has stated. OSCE Democratic Institutions and Human Rights Office said in a report which was published on Saturday night that the election process had improved compared to 2008, especially when it comes to the electoral roll and abolition of blank resignation letters. OSCE: Serbia improved election process According to OSCE, the fact that political parties are now obligated to adhere to the list of candidates provided ahead of the elections and that there is a more efficient control of campaign financing also represent steps in a good direction. OSCE noted, however, that there is a difference in procedures for presidential, parliamentary and local elections and that holding of all elections at the same time could lead to confusion.
