The greatest amount of financial assistance, some EUR 230mn, was provided by the EU via IPA funds. The U.S. government will allocate USD 10mn or around EUR 7.6mn in 2012, but it announced that the funds would be set aside in the years to come as well. The governments of Italy, Norway, Germany and Switzerland will allocate EUR 5mn each, Denmark set aside EUR 1.3mn and Turkey will provide EUR 1mn. Luxembourg contributed with EUR 500,000, and Cyprus, the Czech Republic and Romania would donate EUR 50,000 each, while Hungary would provide EUR 30,000. The countries in the region, including Bosnia-Herzegovina, Montenegro, Croatia and Serbia, should allocate EUR 83mn, of which Serbia alone should provide EUR 33mn. It was planned for the donor conference to raise some EUR 600mn. When the program has been fully realized, which should happen within the next five years, the housing issue should be resolved for a total of 74,000 people in Serbia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia and Montenegro.
