The order of presidential candidates on the ballot will be determined by a draw, Republic Electoral Commission (RIK) Secretary Veljko Odalovic told Tanjug. In the previous presidential elections in 2008, the order of the presidential candidates was also set by a draw by pulling out names of candidates from one box and numbers from the other. “Draw to determine order of presidential candidates” “The number which a candidate receives will be his number in the ballot sheet,” Odalovic said on Saturday, adding that the deadline for the candidacy submittal was at midnight on April 15. Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS)-Party of United Pensioners of Serbia (PUPS)-United Serbia (JS) coalition was the first one to submit 15,666 signatures in support of Ivica Dacic's presidential bid. On the behalf of the “Choice for a Better Life- Boris Tadic” coalition, representatives of the Democratic Party (DS) handed over 27,606 signatures on Saturday morning supporting Tadic's presidential candidacy. The presidential race will also be taken by Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) leader Tomislav Nikolic, U-Turn Movement and the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) leader Cedomir Jovanovic and Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS) leader Vojislav Kostunica. The presidential candidate of the United Regions of Serbia (URS) will be Zoran Stankovic, Serbi Radical Party (SRS) - Jadranka Seselj, Alliance of Vojvodina Hungarians (SVM) - Istvan Pastor, Movement of Workers and Farmers of Serbia - Zoran Dragisic and the Dveri movement - Vladan Glisic.
