SPS leader submits presidential bid

Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS)- Party of United Pensioners of Serbia (PUPS)-United Serbia (JS) has submitted Ivica Dacic’s presidential bid. Dacic’s bid is the first candidacy that was submitted to to the Republic Electoral Commission (RIK). He added that the people in the SPS-PUPS-JS coalition were competent, capable of solving issues, taking care of national interest and who believed that all citizens were equal. PUPS official Milan Krkobabic said that citizens finally had someone they could vote for. “We have known for a long time what we do not want, but let's now find out what we do want,“ he explained. JS official Petar Petrovic said that his party was certain that Dacic would go through to the second round and eventually win the presidential election because he as the prime minister showed “courage and a clear intent to protect Serbia and all the citizens”.
