He assessed that this was a positive sign that one could not treat war crimes with double standards. He said last night that this was a signal that all those who committed war crimes against Serbs in former Yugoslavia must be punished the same way. Dacic explained that Nuhiu was extradited in cooperation with the Swiss police and with a maximum level of security, adding that there had been no problems during the extradition. “We have taken maximum measures in order to ensure his safe transportation not only to Belgrade but also from the airport to prison,” the interior minister noted. He stressed that the Gnjilane Group was accused of killing more than 150 Serbs and other non-Albanians in Gnjilane.
