EULEX has refused a request of Serbian doctors from Gracanica to examine Serbs arrested by Kosovo special police units (ROSU) on February 25. EULEX has stated that the arrested Serbs had the right to be examined by doctors of their choice but that the arrested men did not request to be seen by the doctors and that the Gracanica Health Center collegium had filed the request. EULEX refuses to allow doctors to examine Serbs “Bearing in mind that neither the arrested persons nor their families requested additional medical tests we cannot accommodate your request,” EULEX stressed in the statement.
