Tadić says he hasn't considered presidential elections
Serbian President and ruling Democratic Party (DS) leader Boris Tadić has stated that he has not dealt with the presidential election issue.

Serbian President and ruling Democratic Party (DS) leader Boris Tadic has stated that he has not dealt with the presidential election issue. “I am sorry but I did not have time to deal with it,” he told a press conference on Friday after addressing Serbian citizens on the occasion of getting the EU candidate status. Tadic says he hasn't considered presidential elections When asked whether the presidential elections would be soon called, the president said he had not had time to deal with the issue. “I have noting against dealing with it and I will deal with it if it is in our national interest. The elections should be held according to the schedule,” Tadic pointed out. When asked whether the parliamentary and local elections would be held in the territory of Kosovo, the president said that the elections would be called in the entire territory of Serbia but stressed that it depended on numerous circumstances, including the safety issue, whether they would be held in Kosovo. “We will do everything possible to realize the constitutional principles,” Tadic explained. According to him, holding of the elections in Kosovo is in accordance with the UN Security Council Resolution 1244. B92

“We will do everything possible to realize the constitutional principles,” Tadić explained.
According to him, holding of the elections in Kosovo is in accordance with the UN Security Council Resolution 1244.
