Kosovo police (KPS) have said that they seized 17 kilograms of heroin and arrested 11 suspects in the towns of Peć and Prizren.

Kosovo police (KPS) have said that they seized 17 kilograms of heroin and arrested 11 suspects in the towns of Pec and Prizren. The KPS statement said that the operation, launched last November, also resulted in confiscation of some EUR 18,000 in four different locations. 17 kilos of heroin seized in Kosovo "Materials for drug mixing", scales, a pistol and ammunition were also found, it was announced, while two cars were seized. Ten of those arrested are ethnic Albanians, while one is a Turkish national. A court in Pristina has ordered the suspects to remain in 48-hour police custody. Beta
